  About Unity

The End of the World? A war, a pandemic, a crisis-- welcome to 1918.

Unity (1918), asks you to imagine a time and place that has been forgotten by history and overshadowed by the First World War.  Unity, a town anticipating the joyful return of its soldiers instead finds itself isolated by the threat of the Spanish flu.

This dark comedy explores the lives of the young women of town: their dreams of love, their fears of death and their developing desires.  It asks: what if our current technology-driven lives suddenly were forced onto a single, shared telephone line?

Unity (1918), invites you to experience this forgotten and haunting moment of our past…before history has a chance to repeat itself.
